The Toulon

A Louis XVI reproduction in stone, the Toulon exhibits the refined carving detail of the period while being executed in a casual material and finish. Of particular note is the tablet which features a crossed sheaf of arrows and flaming torch, symbolizing the power of love to both enflame and debilitate.  A mantel of this character would be found in the formal rooms of a country estate or seaside villa.
