The Francois designed by Jeffrey Bilhuber, featured in this showcase in Classico limestone, and accompanied by the Osborne Fire Basket in polished steel.  In designing his collection for Chesneys, Bilhuber took inspiration from the early-20th century avant-garde art movement, Czech Cubism. The dynamic slicing planes and crystalline forms idealized by this movement are brought to life in sculptural forms that are effortlessly modern. Peruse the entire collection here.

This tapestry called verdure is typical of Aubusson productions of the 17th and 18th centuries. The composition places the spectator in an undergrowth at the edge of a forest. A gap in the center directs the eye towards a landscape inhabited by birds. In the distance, one can make out a castle on a promontory. The beauty and the relief of this work are authentically retranscribed, thanks to the printing on straw with metallic reflections.
