A very good example of a late 18th century Irish chimneypiece with corner blocks and central tablet finely carved and the jambs and frieze panels displaying very fine scagliola inlay work depicting ribbon tied trailing vines in the manner of Dublin based Italian chimneypiece maker, Pietro Bossi.
