An early 19thc century chimneypiece of architectural form in Carrara marble with end blocks carved with simple rosettes above inverted tapering pilasters in brecciated verde marble and conforming frieze panels, the latter flanking a plain fielded central frieze tablet and terminating with a moulded corniced mantel shelf.
