An imposing mid 18th century English mantelpiece in statuary and Siena marbles with corbels heading the jambs above fruiting grape vines spilling from scallop shells. The frieze with a center tablet featuring an urn festooned with grapes. The mantelpiece has a breakfront corniced shelf and egg and dart carved ingrounds.
