A striking mid-18th-century mantelpiece of unusual design with tapering pilasters inlaid with flutes of brocatelle below carved rosettes supporting corner blocks carved with ribbon tied laurels and the frieze with a central medallion set in panels of Siena. The mantelpiece has Portoro marble ingrounds.
