Late 19th c. Louis XVI style mantel in Carrara marble with stepped frieze elaborated with guilloche carving detail, stop fluted tablet and rose swag. Fluted console jambs exhibit ribbon and rose carving details and support corner blocks with concentric rosettes. Mantel includes cast iron contre Coeur panels with lattice relief detail.
