The Walmer

The Walmer chimneypiece is modeled on the fireplace in the entrance hall to Walmer Castle, a Tudor fortress later converted into a stately country house.

The Walmer is carved in Italian Arabescato marble and is shown with the Kenwood II fire basket from the English Heritage Collection.
