Belsay Hall, a mansion built in Northumberland’s border country in 1817, is the inspiration for the Belsay chimneypiece. The property is a masterpiece in the Greek Revival style.
The Belsay is carved in Statuary marble and is shown with the Osterley fire basket in steel.
