A very good 19th century French chimneypiece in Statuary marble in the Louis XVI style with half round engaged stop fluted columns terminating beneath finely carved acanthus capitals, the frieze with a central cartouche of ribbon tied garland of olive leaves. The mantel shelf breaking over the columns.
