A 19th century French chimneypiece in the Empire style in Spanish Brocatelle marble with console jambs decorated with Lion’s paw feet and acanthus leaf carving and terminating beneath corner blocks with crisply carved rosettes and a conforming elliptical rosette to the centre of the panelled frieze.
