A striking mid 18th century mantelpiece of unusual design with tapering pilasters inlaid with flutes of brocatelle below carved rosettes supporting corner blocks carved with ribbon tied laurels and the frieze with a central medallion set in panels of Siena. The mantelpiece has Portoro marble ingrounds.
